Located in the same building as Shinjuku Village, Shinjuku Scala-za is a relatively large theater that seats 620. It usually shows American movies, including the latest Hollywood offerings. The usual cinema snacks, with the addition of beer, are available, but those with an appetite and a taste for Chinese cuisine do not have to go far. There are Chinese restaurants on two floors of the building so it is possible to kill two birds with one stone and have a meal then catch a movie (or vice versa) without stepping outside. Admission: JPY1,800.
