Shiki Theater, which boasts one of the most talented theater companies in Japan, consists of two halls. The larger hall, Haru (spring), seats 1,255 and stages chorus, musicals and drama, while the smaller hall, Aki (autumn), seats 607 and stages musicals or chorus. There is often, but not always, a matinee performance that starts at 1pm. The curtain usually goes up at 6:30pm for the evening show. There is a coffee shop serving light refreshments, including alcohol.
